Craving cake? I just tried this recipe and it literally took 5 minutes to make. Seriously dangerous! I love fun recipes and cooking (that’s creative, right?), so I thought I might add a recipe section to this blog. Feel free to share your favs! Here’s that recipe:
Chocolate Cake in a Cup
Yield: 2-3 servings
Add these dry ingredients into 1 coffee cup (regular size with straight or flared sides…. nothing big… it all fits)
4 Tablespoons four (plain flour, not self rising)
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons baking cocoa
Mix well, then add:
1 egg Mix thoroughly, then add:
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil Mix well, then add:
small splash of vanilla
3 Tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
ground nuts (optional) Mix well.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high (in a more powerful microwave, use 9 instead of 10)
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out of the mug onto a plate, if desired.
EAT!! This cake can serve 2-3 if you want to share.
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because we are now all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake any time day or night.
